COVID-19 Update

Cycle-Smart Foundation is a small charity and are able to maintain social distancing, so we are back in the office 1 day a week. We are on a mission to raise funds for the future!
We are delighted to say that we have seen an increase in cycling during this pandemic as it is a brilliant form of exercise for the body and mind. We are expecting that, as and when, children return to school they will be encouraged to continue walking and cycling, instead of using public transport. We are aiming to raise the funds so we can continue to educate and provide quality helmets when they do.

Please watch the short video of Joe’s story. It is a true story highlighting the reason for Cycle-Smart’s existence. Children still feel the same peer pressure today as back when Joe had his accident. Not only did Joe’s life change that day, but everyone who knew him was affected.
One easy way you can help Cycle-Smart continue to promote safe cycling, is by donating via the Just Giving or Paypal button.
Anyone who shops in the Co-op can donate every time they shop, simply by selecting us as their nominated charity. Please click here to go to the sign up page.

Don't Leave it to Chance

The Cycle-Smart Foundation is a national resource working with parents, teachers, police, road safety officers, Government departments, healthcare professionals and children by promoting and providing educational programmes in schools on the need for helmet use and safer cycling practice throughout the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

Helmets have been shown to be effective in reducing potential injury to a young cyclist's head/brain in the event of a fall or impact with an object. Brain injury is devastating - it is not worth leaving it to chance.
